School Production

Creekside K-9 College offers an array of theatrical events to showcase our talented performers within the school. We hold a school production every second year at a professional theatre. The large cast of Year 3 – 9 students have the opportunity to perform in singing, dancing and acting, as well as other roles including backstage crew, tech, set design, costumes, hair & make-up. Students learn about scripts, performance techniques, theatrical elements, collaborating with other cast members, and the planning, rehearsing and performance processes involved in creating a show. ‘Alice in Wonderland Jr’ (2013), ‘Aladdin Jr’ (2015),  ‘High School Musical Jr’ (2017) and ‘Peter Pan’ (2019) are some of our recent shows. Student always hold fond memories of their involvement in school productions.
